Just plant the majority of your tomato plants. Go ahead... sorry I don't have time to help you, I'm too busy covering my garden with a thick layer of straw!! ;)
Crazy isn't it?! I think it was just last week we got frost and for several days there was a frost advisory. I need to plant my tomatoes. =) Oh! Thanks for the link about the rhubarb. I'll have to find someone who has some!
My tomatoes are mostly still holding up but only 2 of the 35 broccoli plants are still alive. I think that was more because I didn't water them right after planting than due to the cold weather. There was a frost advisory again tonight but things are still pretty well mulched from yesterday, I only left the tops uncovered tonight and will just take my chances.
Joyce - I really thought that I should just relax and let it be almost summer - so much for that!!
FD - The beach, well, that sounds, umm, nice. Lol!
Julie - Good luck with your rhubarb. I'm in the process of creating the best rhubarb cheesecake recipe ever so when I perfect it I'll be sure to share!
What started as a blog about the happenings here on our Centennial Farm has now evolved in to a little more personal account of things from my point of view as a new farm(er's) wife. Stick around for awhile and hopefully you'll learn a little about everything from industrial and sustainable farming to raising livestock to being green and maybe even catch a good recipe or two. Enjoy!
We're on our way out of debt and on to greener pastures...

Good grief, it's June! You should be able to plant tomatoes by now and feel like it won't frost! Oh, well, nothing to do about it.
And I've been worried it's going to rain on our field trip to the beach on Friday. It's been a chilly (but not frosty) June so far here, too.
