Look what I found this morning! Lily, one of the first two lambs we brought to the farm, now has her own lamb. This one is a ewe lamb, and she is jet black. I thought the other baby was black but she is more like gray compared to this little girl. Who knew!?
I'm off to work, just wanted to share the good news!

Congratulations! So cute! I love it when they frisk around in the pasture. You'll have a lot of fun watching them.
Ang - I don't mind the black, but I was very surprised about this one. The mom has a dark spot on her hip but the ram was a normal, light color so I didn't see this coming. I guess I need to study genetics a little more.
Joyce - They are great to watch, I caught this new one sprawled out on her side sound asleep, it makes my heart melt! :)
