Oh my goodness...

I can't help it, I have to share my favorite new song with you. Jason Aldean has managed to make a song about tractors the sexiest, steamiest thing I've heard in a while. It is amazing and I can't stop listening to it!

What's your favorite new song?

I love this song, too!

His song "Amarillo Sky" still makes me cry because it makes me think of my dad.

I've got lots of new favorite songs by Dierks Bently, Lady Antebellum and others, but my all time favorties are "Dust on the Bottle" and "Where the Green Grass Grows." There's just something about driving with the windows down blaring those songs.

Great song! I am glad to know I am not alone in listening to a new favorite over and over. :) I still love that International Harvester song and will play it and play it and play it....:)

Steve and I just sat here and listened to it together. =) We like! I can't think of a favorite song off the top of my head. I like a lot of them...

My brother's favorite part of the Internation Harvester song is the beginning when he revs it up. Ed and I love that song, too. Especially the part about being married to the farmer's daughter :)

OMG, I have this in my CD player right now. I have been blasting out the lines to Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor" as I zoom around with my "ragtop" down! I love how he sings about the girl driving in in her ragtop, the dogs jumping around, and then she chooses the big, green tractor! Of course, there are a lot of John Deere fans around our farm, so this really hits home! My youngest son wears one of his favorite stash of JD hats every day to work. . . you know the ones that are worn in just right. My DH wears his Toby Keith straw cowboy hat, which I just love!

Actually, we saw Jason Aldean open for Toby Keith not too long ago and I just love both of their music! Jason is SO much taller in real life than I expected! This from someone who lives with 6'4" and 6'5" guys . . . he just looked so tall on stage!

OK, sorry, I gotta get back to my music!

FD - Amarillo Sky really hits home with us for sure. I agree about "Where the Green Grass Grows" as well, it's a keeper.

Jennifer - Lol, yes that International Harvester is a great one for this time of year with all the tractors puttin down the roads from field to field.

Julie - Aww, I'm glad you guys could enjoy it together. It is so romantic. Ironically, I don't think Brian has even heard it yet, he's been so busy on his big green tractor.

Ruth - I too love the part about all the dogs wagging around just because that is our house for sure. I've noticed that my all time favorite songs are usually the ones that I can really relate to.

I know exactly what you mean about hats. We have so many baseball caps and he only wears like three. They are different for the seasons I guess depending on mesh or lined, who knew!? Of course the ones he doesn't wear are not to be thrown away, those one are for "good". Lol. Gotta love men!

Ed wears the same hat every day, for I'd say the last five years or so! It's a brown JD hat, and I swear it stinks so bad! I make him wash it every now and then. I've gotten him new ones and so have his parents, but he still keeps this stinky one on. Ugh!
