I Wish I Was A Cow...Or A Cat!

Can you see them?

What about now?

This is how our two calves spend their days. They aren't real interested in eating their corn or picking at the hay. They don't even go wild for the lush green grass like I expected. They mostly lounge around the pasture and sleep in the sun. It is a beautiful sight, and I'm jealous.

We don't have any set plans for the weekend yet. We may head up to the beach tomorrow and get Brian's Mom's camper settled in to her lot for the summer. I can hardly wait to get back to the farmer's market in Port Austin. It is the best one around by far, especially on holiday weekends. Then we have a lot of work to do around home, as usual.

What are your plans for this weekend? Is the weather supposed to be nice? I'd love to hear about it.

P.S. This just in...he's trying to help me type with his back feet I guess.

Ahhh...to be able to laze aroud all day. What a helpful kitty! :) We are just taking it easy this weekend. Today is my son's b-day so he is having a campfire-cookout-football-videogame-sleepover and my house is full of sweaty boys right now. :) And we're filling the kid's swimming pool. Weather is supposed to stay gorgeous. Got some steaks to grill tomorrow or Sunday. I was also thinking of hitting the farmer's market in town in the morning. I hope you have a good one! :)

We have no real plans... just relaxing for the long weekend, which is great! It's so nice to have some time to catch up at home. The weather was wonderful this week, but the weekend doesn't look so nice. Tomorrow's supposed to be cold again, after 80's today.

Jennifer - Helpful kitty, sure... I'd say more of a pain in the rear personally! ;) j/k, we really are lucky to have him. Good luck with the sleepover! It sounds like a boy's dream. How wonderful that the weather is staying nice for you, sounds perfect for your cookout. Enjoy!

FD - That's the best when you can just relax and take it as it comes. Our weather sounds like yours. It was 80+ all week when we were working and now it is low 70s and overcast. Oh well, we'll make the best of it. I'm determined to get a lot of things done no matter what! Have a good one.
